The Central Highlands region of Vietnam contains 5 provinces. The region's coffee plantations (290,000 ha) constitute 4/5 of the total coffee plantation area for the whole country. The elephant walked along the asphalt road and we passed by the shops on the way. Then it turned left and walked down a slope to get into the Serepôk river.

It's so cheap, only VND 1,000 for one. In Hanoi we cannot buy anything with this amount.

Coffee seeds are being dried in the sun.

Gongs are one of the famous musical instruments in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. They were recognized by UNESCO as an intangible heritage of Vietnam.

The path in front of us leads to the Serepôk river.

The Ede ethnic minority people in this village built new modern houses next to their old traditional ones (long houses).

During our 5 day trip in the Central Highlands, we traveled by plane, bus, elephant, motorbike, mini bus and taxi.

This elephant is very big. Myself and friend were so surprised when it was passing by us.

The locals in this region plant coffee, pepper and rubber trees.

When we walk on this bridge, we feel like it's swinging. There are some bridges like this and they lead to an island.

This community house is of concrete type. The traditional one looks different.

This is the 3rd waterfall we visited in the last morning in BMT.

The house was made from wood. This is the only house in Vietnam that has wooden roof.

This bridge looks dangerous and we are not allowed to walk along it.

Thanks for your adventurous trek, that is very interesting to me. I have never tried to ride on elephant in Bangkok and Siem Liap. Now, I fee like riding on it next month.

Great photos again, it looks like a very interesting area. The waterfall looks particularly nice. The cost of the trip was very good value.

Cám ơn bạn đã ghi chép các kinh nghiệm ở BMT
Lần đầu tiên tôi đọc thông tin này. Rất cảm kích vì bạn đã chia sẻ những thông tin hữu ích về BMT. Nếu phần tiếng Việt cũng do bạn tự viết thì tôi rất khâm phục khả năng tiếng Việt của bạn. Tôi không biết bạn còn có ý định trở lại vùng tây nguyên nữa không. Nếu bạn có ý định trở lại, bạn nên đi vào dịp Giáng Sinh, đã có lần tôi đi Đà Lạt vào dịp đó, và được thưởng thức hương hoa cafee. Phải nói là hương hoa cafee rất dễ chịu, nó hòan tòan khác với mùi cafee mà chúng ta vẫn thường thưởng thức. Tôi đã đi BMT và sắp tới có ý định sẽ đi nữa, vì tôi rất thích không khí dễ chịu và vẻ yên ả cũng như thức ăn o BMT. Cám ơn bạn một lần nữa vì đã chia sẻ thông tin nhé. Chúc bạn có những chuyến đi thú vị và mong được tiếp tục đọc những bài chia sẻ của bạn.
