We have unexpected visitors

A trickle of mains water this morning means that I can just about give the garden a drink after breakfast although it is still not strong enough for a hot shower.
Bike into Phon Thong for the internet and to buy Jai a birthday present for tomorrow.
After lunch I hear someone calling out at the front of the house then am surprised to see Dave and Max coming around the corner. En-route from Chiang Mai to their place in Surin Jai and Max had arranged that they would stopover here but hadnt told Dave or myself. We didnt have much food in the house so as soon as time allowed Jai and Max head off to the village market top stock up whilst I put some beer and wine in the fridge. Get the charcoal and the burner out and BBQ some pork with a few drinks. None of us are drinkers any more so when Jai and Max head indoors to watch TV Dave and myself also call it a night - and it is only 21:00.
