Into Phon Thong right after breakfast for the Saturday market. We are well loaded up for the ride back to Khamnadie about 9:00 and just about manage to get everything in the fridge for the week.
Jai is doing some laundry this morning so that is my cue to keep out of the way on the front porch.
After lunch Jai feels like doing some cooking so sits down with the recipe sheets I have translated - thanks Microsoft. She decides on something called bierocks taken from the Hairy Bikers visit to Germany. Basically bread rolls filled with a pasty mixture. The recipr didnt actually say how many the quantities made so we end up with 16 of them. Guess what we are having for dinner tonight ? They were really nice as well so expect to be seeing them again at regular intervals.
I did a little work in the back garden after the sun had gone down. The marigolds and big tomato seeds we planted are all growing well. I use the soil Pad brought from the farm to begin filling in holes but will need a lot more yet to finish the job. I think that over the last 5 years there is more of our garden been washed next door than is still here !
