A beautiful morning, probably as nice as its been since we got back here.
With the bedroom wardrobe empty so that we could move it, Jai decides it would be a good opportunity to wash everything thats in it ! This is going to take a couple of days but a couple of machine loads this morning gets the ball rolling.
With laundry out on the line drying we bike out to the farm to check on the ducks. Apparently they had a good run around earlier but when we arrive they are all snuggled up in a corner fast asleep. I go and cut down a few young trees to make some more orchid baskets later then we go for a walkabout to check on the rice. I think it looks better this year than at any previous year I have seen it so here's hoping for a bumper crop. Jai cuts some young bamboo for lunch the next couple of days then back to the house.
After lunch I cu up the young trees into usable sized lengths and then Jai starts to assemble another few baskets.
I finish an almost never-ending James Clavell novel then treat myself to a beer !!
