Waiting for a visa ...

Fingers crossed that Jai's passport arrivestoday but more importantly that it includes a valid UK visa!
I go out to the farm for a long session bearing in mind that I will be having a two day break from tomorrow.
In the afternoon we leave a message with the postman opposite us that we are expecting a package and that if it arrives please bring it straight away and dont wait until tomorrow morning.
I phone mum this evening as we will be in Laos and out of contact at our usual time tomorrow. It is snowing as we speak - not here !
Postman pulls up on his bike just after 18:00 and leaves a package which turns into good news as it contains passport and visa from 22nd March for 180 days. This was a bit lucky as the flight I have already booked leaves on 22nd March.
By the time I get round to having a shower the village is without water. We have been using the hot shower for one month and already I have gone soft and the cold water is a real shock to the system.
