Still no visa has come for Jai and with it being the weekend there seems little chance of it arriving in the next couple of days. It usually comes back in about 5 days so this is far and away the longest we have had to wait. I just hope that no-one has lost it !!
We bike into Phon Thong for the Saturday market and buy a new pair of shoes that I now need due to the destruction the bamboo has wrought on my existing pair. The thorns are so sharp that they just come straight through the soles.
Check the internet for an e-mail about the visa but nothing there. Do have some photos from sister Pam shopwing that they woke up to a covering of snow. For a second I am jealous - but only for a second.
Out to the farm for a couple of hours before and after lunch.
Septic Sam comes and empties our tanks again as they were beginning to whiff a bit.
In the evening Jai goes with Ang from next door to a celebration party for the new mayor.
