Bits and pieces day

It rained a few times overnight but not really enough to even nmake the ground wet. I want a really good storm to make sure that the drainage I have put around the nes shed actually carries the water into the back garden. After we have gone in a week or so there will be no-one here who cares if it works or not.
Jiap and Gay are staying here for another night and this morning they go off in their pick-up with Jai's son and wife and come back with hundreds of small melons from a farm somewhere. We fill a rice sack for us to keep some and the rest they will take back to their place with them tomorrow.
Jai cooks some of the big fish tonight, frying it and until the skin is nice and crispy. It is areally thick and tastes more like a meat than a fish and is really nice. Good news is there is loads left for us later.
Drank too many beers last night so only a couple tonight to be sociable.
