Time for mat making again

Upon waking up this morning Jai has decided that it is time for her to start making mats again. We dont have enough grass of our own yet so bike across the village to friend Wan's house to borrow her mat loom and to buy some grass from her sister - sounds bad doesnt it ?! Luckily another friend was there with her pick-up so she was able to bring the loom back to our place for us and save me dragging it back on a trolley behind the bike, With the loom set up in the lounge it is out to the garden to start work on the grass. Jai sorts it out into small bundles whilst I get the burner going, using my own home produced charcoal. Jai then checks out her dyes and it looks as though we can have any colour we like so long as its purple. Spend the afternoon reading whilst Jai finishes off a piece of mat that was already in the loom.
