Ride into Phon Thong this morning with Jai's sister Begat as a passenger. We leave Jai baking. I go to the internet but find that they have no connection this morning. Go to the bank to pick up Begat expecting to have a long wait as I had told her I would be gone for 2 hours. Surprisingly as I pull into the forecourt she comes out with business complete and we head straight back to the village.
In the evning Jai goes to visit her sister in law who is now pottering around but is not very strong. She comes back about 20:30 and is clutching a letter from the British Embassy. With a little trepidation we open to find that they haveat last decided to grant a visa again; 20 March - 20 September. Perhaps I will sleep a little better tonight.
