Kings Birthday

This is my usual day for going into Phon Thong and updating this blog. With it being the KIngs Birthday and a national holiday I am never sure what places will be open for business and which places will close. Give the trip into town a miss and postpone until tomorrow.
Jai's son spends a lot of time at our place today and it turns out he was discussing with Jai that he wants to finish with his wife. Working for his father in law he never actually gets paid with the mother in law holding all of the money and paying for everything when required. He wants to start doing paid work, such as cutting sugar, but she has told him that she wants half of all he gets - nice lady. He has told his wife that either they go off somewhere together with thjeir daughter or if she wants to stay with her mother then he is leaving. All too complicated for me. He comes and eats with us tonight and I am expecting him to sleep at our place but he doesnt return after dark.
