The garden is taking up much of time at the moment and with a dry day I spend almost all day working. Not wearing a shirt seemed like a good idea all day but has left me pretty red !! At least it is starting to look like a garden again instead of a jungle.
Whilst clearing outside the back door Jai found a three inch tall orange tree that must have germinated from a stray seed. We have moved it to somewhere we can take care of it and fingers crossed. I can noiw see the lime trees as well and closer inspection reveals a number of fruits forming.
Our blocked bathroom drain is still giving problems so this afternoon we stopped the drain lorry and had both our septic tanks emptied and he cleaned out the pipes at the same time - all for GBP4 !!
Made some ice cubes in the new fridge and enjpyed a cold beer this evening. Much better and I will soon get used to the taste again.
Jai's big sister Bepat pops in for a visit this evening after returning from seeing the cancer Doc in Bangkok. She is looking well but is in quite a bit of pain and it looks like the Docs cant do much more for her except pain relief.
