Our choices for breakfast this morning were pancakes, eggs (cooked to order), lettuce soup with pork, fried baby corn with pork, stir fried rice noodles, fried rice, boiled rice with fish, chicken pork sausage, ham, bacon, stir fried squid with chilli and herbs, steamed jasmine rice, pancakes, 4 types of bread, assorted pastries, salads, fresh fruit, cereal, pancakes, consommé soup with ?, and 1 or 2 other dishes.
I had cereal, eggs, bacon, pancakes and orange juice. Nana and Pa got to breakfast before us and the manager (who they'd made friends with) put them in 2 seat table so when we got there we had to sit by ourselves until we moved to bigger table when one became vacant.
We went down to the pool and then remembered we were going to check out the pool toy shop, but for a basic 30cm ball it was 6 Australian dollars and we figured that was too expensive for something we were going to throw out in a week so we left it and went swimming. I didn't stay in too long because it was getting too itchy so I lay on the sun bed and read a magazine. The sun
beds are all in a row on one side of the pool and at the top end there are heaps of trees so we have that end so we don't get sun burnt and the Scandinavians have the other end. There's probably 20 of them. I went over and had a look at the massage prices, 150B for half an hour, 250B for an hour then booked mum and I in at 2 o'clock for a half hour massage.
Lunch was in Nana and Pa's room and we had saladas, bread, pizza things and bananas.
Mum and I left them there and went back to get the massage. We got them at the same time as there was two ladies, well mine started 2 minutes after mums. We had the traditional Thai massage and it was so nice - they massaged our feet, hands, arms, legs, back, ears, eyes and eyebrows. They had some weird techniques but, we were kicked in the back, elbowed and sat on but it's in the fun of it all. I almost fell asleep it was so relaxing. I decided when I'm rich I'll hire a masseur before I go to bed and my alarm
will be them with their feet on my back. - I wish!
We went for a swim afterwards, then headed off to the market with Mr. Long the travel agent. It was only 3km down the road and very busy. For dinner I had fried noodle with pork and everyone else had chicken and pork skewers and for desert we had pancakes on a stick (the same as 4 years ago only half the size) and orange juice and Nana and Pa had sticky rice and mangoes which they were very happy about. We came home with a top for me, 4 sunnies for mum and some wall stickers for me. Oh and some DVD's. We ended the day with an ice-cream from the Family Mart. .
