you won't believe it, everyone knows that i'm scared shitless of snakes, and guess one, i saw one falling less than 2m from me, i thought i would die, i was just screaming for my friend and that made all the locals laugh the whole day. this stupid snake just fell down from the tree to go to the bookshop and went back to the forest straightaway but now i've been having nightmares everynight, i'm not gonna survive Australia, people say it's worse. anyway, our life is still the same, we're still on the same beach, still not doing anything, yesterday i played frisbee with the boys so i consider that it's enough sport for the week. we told the locals about Guy Fawkes so tonight we're having another party, with fireworks and lots of alcohool, ... read more

hey there, isn't that exciting, we're in Thailand, and i've never seen something more beautiful. since we've been to the Cameron Highlands, we met loads of people and we've all travelled together. from there we went to Penang, which we thought would be a lovely tiny island and it was another big city, so we all stayed one night and some of the group went straight to Krabi in Thailand. that night didn't really go well, we had some guests in our hotel called rats and it was really disgusting. i saw one running to the toilets, where one of my friends was, and 5 minutes later she came out completely white, saying that a rat jumped on her knees while she was peeing. charming! things are pretty much the same here, i'm sure everyone must ... read more

Hello Guys, OK, left Koh Tao which was sad, but the show must go on. So headed to Raliey or Rai Lei, the Thai's dont even know how it's spelt. What chance does a dixlexik bloke have?? Anyways, caught up with Mum on her last few days in Railey which was cool. Such a beautiful place, massive rocks that look like they've forced themselves out of the sea. My mate Elliott from Koh Toa cam down to join us and the rock climbing began. Bloodly wicked. You get such a rush when you climb a 30 meter cliff and look down, very few better feelings!! Stayed there for about 5 nights then Elliott and i have come down to the perhentian lslands in Malaysia. Oh my God, such a sweet looking place. We came here because ... read more

Country: Thailand City:Rai Lei- an island with no motor transport We walked a long windy hill that circled around and around to arrive at what felt like the middle of no where surrounded by tall, tall cliffs so hidden if you didnt know it was there you could never guess. I imagine you could only see it from the sky. As the sun went down the lights came on from an out door bar that had only a partial roof (no walls) . The rest of the place ( chairs, tables) was amoung cliffs, grass , trees and plants . It felt as if we were in a movie on a desserted island and I knew I could never explain how surreal it felt. My pictures dont even do it justice. ... read more

This was my first trip over to thailand. 2 weeks with just Steve and Dave to keep me company. Ah... it was certainly glorious. We were there about a month prior to the tsunami which made watching the news on Boxing Day that year more hard hitting. ... read more
