We decided to spend Saturday relaxing and sunbaking and using the time to explore the resort of Club Med.We then wandered into Kata Town to explore that area in the late afternoon and to drop off some laundry.
There are many laundry establishments in the road opposite Club Med (I think it is called Ket Khuan Road). We paid 60 baht per kilo for washing, drying and pressing. Great service that I would love to have at home!
There are also a couple of massage shops here as well as a great shop where we bought t-shirts, hats, boardies etc. There didn't appear to be any bartering, it was a fixed price shop, but I only paid 300 baht for D and G and Von Dutch tops, it was air conditioned and with a big changing room, so I was happy to pay a bit extra. There is also a 7/11 with an ATM, which we made good use of.
I am married to a wonderful man, Gary and have three kids, Samantha (25), Stephanie (22) and Jayden (18). We all love to travel!
