22nd May. Left Auckland at midnight jeze it was bloody freezing.
23rd May. Arrived Phuket after long but very good flights. Singapore Airlines - what a great way to fly - the adds are all true. Best service we have ever had and on a definite par with Thai and Emirates. These guys leave air NZ and Qantas for dead.
Weary but happy and OMG its hot. 34 Celsius - we were melting. Thank god for the pool. Ventured out and Murv and Gaylene got their first look at how things work. I bartered for them for their first purchase to show them how its done and got a couple of good bargains. 4 weary bodies hit the hay, not much sleep on the way over.
