There's not a lot to say about Phuket. The flight was good, taking only an hour or so from Bangkok. On arrival at Phuket we were hassled so severely by taxi drivers that I nearly knocked one out (still not feeling that hot = no sense of humour!).
It took about 45 minutes to get from the airport to Phuket Town and we checked into our hotel (The Crystal Inn) which was cheap as chips and pretty good. We were rather disappointed to find that Phuket smells a lot like Bangkok and after a short walk about and a pizza dinner we got an early night. The next morning we were on the boat at 8am to go to Phi Phi and things were looking up 😊

Phi Phi
Hi, Just searching for Phuket/Phi Phi and saw your blog. We are travelling to Phuket on Monday from Penang, but not sure whether to go straight to Phi Phi or stay in Phuket the night, have you previously booked a place in Phi Phi or is it easy to just turn up and find somewhere?
