Thailand Part 3
Neil in his element Welcome to the third installment of the travel blog thats capturing audiences from all over the world haha!! Well weve done four islands since our last blog and what an adventure. Weve been clamped, pulled by the police, got a puncture in the middle of nowhere (this was all in the one day by the way) seen bits of lady boys that will scar us for the rest of our natural, fed monkeys and kyacked around a lagoon.
We got an internal flight from Bangkok to Phuket which was better than the last flight thank god, it took us about an hour an twenty minutes to get there but when we landed it was like a different world. We had a place in mind to stay when we got here but we did not know the address of it and neither did the taxi driver. We asked him to drop us off were we thought it was but when we got there we still couldnt find it so we walked into the first place we came across and it was lovely, really spacious and clean as you can see from the pics.
The nightlife in Phuket leaves little

The Monsoon we got caught in to the imagination as we witnessed a good few times, put it one way its just a good job im not a jelous girlfriend haha!! Theres so many lady boys with the tiniest waists you have eva seen and 65+ year old men with 15 year old thai girls walking down the road hand in hand, not a nice sight. We did get scammed one night, it was only 150 bhat about 2 quid but the way she did it was the cheekiest thing ive eva seen. She was having a laugh with us saying that she was having neils baby ( she was a chubby girl) so we were laughing away and everytime she walked past us she would pat her belly and say "your baby". Anyway after about half an hour she said to neil you buy me tequila an he was sayin no, no. Next minute she comes up to us with a shot in her hand and says cheese with us, drinks it and walks away. So i looked at neil an said have we just payed for that and wen we looked at our tab they had put it on the bill haha cheeky cow!!

All the thai's love Liverpool here its great We couldnt do nothing about it though because there were security guards everywere. We still enjoyed the nightlife though and all the ladies/men of the night were really friendly more so to neil than me though haha!!
We did have one of the worst days eva though in Phuket it was like something out of a film. We woke up to find our moped had been clamped so we took the ticket off it and walked down to the police station. We sat down and he explained to us why we had been clamped, are you ready for this? When we parked our bike outside of the hotel it was on the right side but when the next day arrives you have to move over to the other side because they have odd and even days. So you park one side one day and park the opposite side the next day, mad i know. Anyway after looking at him very confused he let us off with a few hundred baht and we only had to pay 300 (nice of them).
So we marched back to our hotel to find the clamp had been taken off it and we

Sally outside our beach bungalow could get on with our day, we had planned to go on a tour of the island on the moped. So off we set along the road by the beach we must have been on the bike about 2 mins when we got beckoned over by 2 police men ( what now). One of them said to neil do you have your license on you, neil said no, so he starts wrighting us ANOTHER ticket ous and told us to take it to the police station. I was fuming so said to him weve only just come from the police station, so he stopped wrighting the ticket and said show me your receipt, which we did and he let us go ( obviosuly make money from tourist day). Were laughing away at how unlucky we had been but we continued on with our tour around the island.
About 20 minutes into our tour it started belting it down ( well it is the monsoon season ) so we decided to pull into this little road and take shelter under some trees untill it calmed down, which it did after about 10 minutes. So we pulled off and started to

Our Canadian friends and a friend from halifax drive back down the road we had pulled into only to find that the bike had got a puncture ( well they do say it happens in 3's ). Middle of nowere, soaking wet and our bike had a puncture, deffo the lawless curse haha. We wheeled the bike upto a hotel and i ran in to ask were there was a garage. She told me to head towards the plaza which was at the end of the road. We turned around and started wheeling the bike to this garage and low and behold it starts belting it down again. We came across the garage only to find it was shut being a sunday (it was our lucky day after all). After half an hour of deliberating neil decided to drive it with the flat tyre to try and get it fixed whilst i waited in the plaza. After an hour of me sitting looking at a wall neil returned with the bike fixed and we carried on only for the monsoon to become a lot worse, the rain drops were that big we had to pull over because the were hurting neils chest as were going along so we

Sally on Maya "The Beach" called it a day.
We arrived at Phi Phi in the middle of a storm so we didnt get up to much here as it is such a small island, its that small they have no cars or motorbikes just peddle bikes. We have decided to do our PADI open water diver course here which starts on the 3rd July which lasts for 3 days and will make us qualified divers. We did get one day of good weather so decided to take a sunset cruise around the Phi Phi isalnds which was a really good day. We got to snorkel and kayak around a lagoon and we watched the sunset on Maya beach ( the beach off the film "the beach") which was paradise. We have dedcided to come back to Phi Phi to do our diving course so we have another week here.
We went to Ao Nang from Phi Phi, which was really quiet so we had to make our own entertainment. Neil got badly sunburt in Phuket and his was shedding skin like no ones business so he decided to get a body scrub and i opted for an oil massage. The man told

Neil on Maya "The Beach" neil to strip so as neil started stripping he was on all fours taking his shorts off when the man whipped his boxies off to neils horror, i would have loved to seen his face but we were in seperate booths, Neil was at least expecting a towel.
The next day we decided to go for a walk around the face rock when we came across some wild monkeys on the beach. We bought some fruit and fed them for a few hours they were lovely. As it was so quiet we decided to leave for the other side of Thailand and head for Ko Samui.
Were now on Ko Samui passing time on one of the best beaches in Thailand before we head over for the biggest beach party in the world on Ko Phangan. Were staying in beach huts at the moment which our lovely and our costing us a tenner a night, not bad as you can see from the pics.
