On Ko Tao

After Prachuap Khiri Khan we both moved into the small town of Chumphon, where we stayed at a local beach for a few days. It rained a lot and Andrew got food poisoning, so we stayed for a few extra days just hanging out. The beach was alright, but we both wanted to go to the islands at sea for a while, so we are now on Ko Tao. Ko Tao is extremely touristy, although it is very fun as well. We are both currently taking our PADI open water diver course. Diving is very exciting. We finish our course in one day and have two more dives at 18 meters. The time we have spent on Ko Tao has been enjoyable, although we have been very lazy and eat a lot of excellent food. The food is very western, even the thai dishes but still tastes great. The prices on this island are way higher than in the little towns we have been but it is nice so we put up with it and still manage to stay on budget. After our PADI diving is complete, we plan on getting a bungalo for christmas, paying a little extra for a nice room. The beaches here are very nice and the water crystal blue. We are having a great time! Hope everyone at home is doing well and we look forward to hearing from you!

Hey, I'm at your house Andrew eatting christmas dinner, and we were talking about you and Trev. That sucks about the food poisoning, sinking of the Kayak and the two scooters but everythig else sounds awesome. Trev I hope your foot heals and you can go swimming and get back to daily activities.
