Hi guys!!!
Well we spent one last night in Bangkok on Saturday and visited Pat Pong!!! and yes, we did see a ping pong show. In actual fact, it wasn't that interesting, although Anton did think the girl who could smoke a cigarette with her mini was quite funny!!! Everywhere we went, we were offered to watch a sex show of some description - it was very strange and seedy
Our last day in Bangkok on Sunday and we visited The Grand Palace and Wat Pho Temple. These were quite interesting as the Grand Palace had the Emerald Buddha, carved out of Jade and Wat Pho had the largest reclining Buddha. At the Grand Palace, Anton was wearing longish shorts but was told they were not allowed, so he had to hire some very fetching trousers!! I went prepared with a long dress and scarf, however, I was told my scarf was not allowed but luckily I had my Holy Cross t-shirt in my bag and it saved the day!!!
Sunday evening, we left Bangkok (both of us really didn't like it because it was too busy, too smelly, too dirty and far too many scam artists!!) and caught the night sleeper train to Surat Thani. We thought we were in 1st class and in a bed together, however it turned out we were in 2nd class and in separate, adjacent top bunks with people sleeping underneath us and about 40 other people in the carriage! Anton and I both kept our curtains open so he could keep an eye on me and so that I wouldn't be scared. Not much sleeping went on that night! We arrrived in Surat Thani the next morning and caught a bus to the pier and then went on a ferry to Koh Samui.
Koh Samui is beautiful and we are staying in a lovely challet right near Lamai beach called 'Full Moon House Samui' Yesterday we spent the afternoon on the beach and walked around to get our bearings. We enjoyed a lovely meal on the beach last night and felt very relaxed after hectic Bangkok. Today we went on a boat trip to two islands - Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan to go snorkelling. We loved it and took some great pictures with our underwater camera.
Lots of Love to you all

Lovely Fish!
Just read your blog and enjoyed the photos it looks like you are having a fantastic time. We particularly enjoyed the strange blue thing! You are definitely better at snorkeling than me Kate, I can't breathe at all! A boring message from Paul Raise on line has arrived and your value added score is great! It should keep ofsted away. Carry on eating those delicious looking puddings and we hope you are not so white next time Kate. Love to you both Keep safe Love Jo and Paul xxxxx
