Beach Life

We finally made it out of Bangkok! After a 12 hour over night train, a 2 hour bus ride, a 2 hour fairy ride, a 20 minute ride in the back of a pickup truck and then 15 minutes on another boat, I have arrived on an island just off of Ko Samui. A very long trek, but well worth it! We're quite isolated, so it's a very nice change from Bangkok. The heat and humidity here seems to make everyone move at a slower and more relaxed pace. Today I was lying on the beach reading, went for a bit of a swim, ate some curry and drank a fresh pinapple and lemon smoothie and the took a nap. Life is hard. I guess I will just have to deal with being here another 8 days!
