Ash and Tigey
She was lovin it...Yo Yo Yo
Just a quickie here to tell y'all bout what we've been doin...
We're currently on Koh Samui staying at a place on Lamai Beach called Mira Mare. It's fairly nice. We opted for A/C and hot water cause those cold shower mornings are starting to get old. We're paying 800b / night... so it's really not too bad. We leave for koh Phangan tomorrow morning and we already made a reservation with A/C and hot water as well. We figure that it's gonna be a long week, so we might as well be comfortable.
Yesterday we actually did some fun stuff.
We started the day by dropping off our laundry... Lemme tell ya how nice it is to have clean clothes round here!!
Then we hopped in a taxi over to the zoo.
We got there just in time to see the birds and tiger show. That was fairly cool. They've got the birds trained fairly well. The maccaws are really intelligent creatures. Bald eagles, other weird lookin birds that I can't quite put my finger on... And then there were the tigers.... You can IMAGINE how ash was during that... The

...And everybody else in the whole wide world! Aww! Lookit this lil guy!!! edge of her chair, almost biting her nails (she only wasn't cause she had her camera in her hand the whole time).
Afterwards, she got her picture taken with a tiger. She said later that that was one of the best days of her life. I hadn't realized that she hadn't touched one before, and that was her first time. She really enjoyed herself for sure. The fish there were really really interesting. Lots of big ones, little ones, sea horses, nemos. And there's a part with these GIANT snapping turtles and they let you feed them. It's awesome. I took some video. Maybe I'll add some it here... It's super cool.
Other than that, we had to go to the thai embassy today to extend ash's stay by 10 days. She wasn't impressed with the girl working there, but in the end it all worked out. They had told her that 7 days was the max that they could do, but she ended up with the full 10.
I guess we'll see how it goes when we get her through customs in BKK.

koh phangan.
Oh, we went shopping last night. Or shall I say Ash went shopping, I just helped carry her bags. She got a few good stuffs.... Can't tell though... Apparently it's a surprise!!
