As we were wrapping up our visit, there was a monk selling his wares at a booth. Annette bought this nice necklace and he gave Doug a wood bracelet.

As we left the temple, we walked across the street into this market. Poi picked us up and they dropped us off at the hotel for a while. They will be coming back a bit later to take us to the Chiang Mai Night Market and Sunday Walking Market.

As we made our way down the street, we stopped to check out this vendor and his watches. He took us behind a drape into a backroom for a closer look at his larger inventory. We each ended up negotiating two new watches each. Poi was helpful in coming to an agreeable price. We purchased several other small things including a great Clint Eastwood T-shirt.

After the night market Poi dropped us off a few blocks away at the Sunday walking market. It was SO crowded. The entire street was absolutely packed with people. We didn't stay long.

These young girls entertained in the middle of the street. The crowds made it tough for them to have any space. After this market Nok & Poi took us back to the hotel. It's been a wonderful and memorable few days together. They will pick us up early in the morning for our flight to Yangon.

When we returned to the hotel, we had Poi drop us off at Lanna Restaurant. We decided that we liked it so much last night that we wanted to return and have a last great meal in Chiang Mai. The entertainment was still going on.
