We were in Bangkok for a night and picked up Christine's shining new 48-page passport, I didn’t even know there was an option for all those pages.
Then we took the train up to Chiang Mai (northern Capital). We have been here for a couple day, and the highlight has been the open-air markets they are crazy. The night market was big, but they also have a Sunday market, which I think the whole town came out to. The market stretched about 2 kilometers, and also used parking lots and side streets, and still there was not enough space for all the stalls and people. We were at the market for 7 hours.. not shopping for that whole. We stopped for food, beer, and a massage to break up the shopping, let me tell you life is rough over here.. Haha.
We are heading off to Laos in the next couple of days.
Cheers John
Go Canucks GO… Strange how well they have played since I left town.
