• Koh Chang in Thailand. Off-season deserted beaches, beautiful and peaceful. Exactly what you need after India.

• Siem Reap - Angkor Wat: Temples, temples and more temples every day.

• Phnom Penh - Khmer Rouge and S21 - pretty much the only two good things that the city has to offer

• Saigon - pretty views from Sheraton's rooftop bar

• Nah Trang - beach, beach, beach but no sun

• Hoi An - amazing beach and incredible tailors and of course some culture as well

• Hue - small, but nice and worth a visit

• Hanoi - Backpacker's hostel is amazing if you are up for drinking and more drinking, haven't seen much of Hanoi yet

• Halong Bay - amazing views, great kayaking and way too much to drink

• Son La - THE ONLY TOURIST IN A TOWN OF 70000 PEOPLE - LOVE IT - I GET ALL THE ATTENTION

• Muang Khua - Remote stopover village from crossing the border at Dien Bien Phu

• Nong Khiaw - beautiful scenery and very peaceful, full of small children who keep on greeting you with 'Sabadiiii'

• Luang Nam Tha - Trekking, very good food and a traditional Lao bath

• Luang Prabang - Temples, monks and french houses

• Vang Vien - Tubing - great for those who love their drink otherwise rock-climbing and kayaking will fill your time

• Bangkok - Khao San road and Patpong, on the cultural side I did manage to see the crown prince

• Koh Samet - Beach again

• Chiang Mai - Elephant riding and bamboo rafting

• Koh Tao - Diving Resort or just relaxation

• Krabi - only to get to Railay

• Railay - Lots of climbing and amazing beaches for sunbathing
