Day 13. Not really done much today. Mr Hertz said he MIGHT exchange our vehicle today so we had to hang around but he never showed and we hope it will be tomorrow, which means another day waiting around. We did manage to nip in to town when we decided he wasn't going to get here, did a bit of shopping , found a bar on the beach and had a beer, that sort of thing.
We found a bar on the beach and watched the locals setting up for the nights entertaiment, a rather Spanish like arrangement, with tables and chairs and BBQ's on the sand so we hurried off back to our villa in a quieter part of the island.
The island is approx. 20 miles long and 5 miles wide with a huge mountain in the middle. Most of the tourist activity takes part on the western side, which has the best beaches, while the eastern side is less busy and more agricultural.
Back at the villa we prepared and ate dinner, prawns, rice, veg, salad, Thai style ie spicey. During the meal we had a visitor, a dog wandered in off the beach and proceeded to make itself at home, it was very tempting to feed it but we resisted, after all it's not our home and we would hate it to become a nuisance for other visitors.
Tomorrow is another day in paradise, how's the weather at home?

The weather back home ???
Its fabulous - the sun is shining and theres a slight breeze. We are sitting outside having our breakfast just planning to go to Blackpool for a stroll along the sand and watch the surfers, followed by lunch at the Winter Garden Ha Ha What do you think the weather is like!!! Its cold grey and raining and we are expecting snow tomorrow. Enjoy paradise whilst you can xxxx
