2wks today!! Sometimes it feels like ive been away for a lot longer and other times that I've just arrived! 1st full day on ko samet, so decided to walk the length of it - only 6km but hard work in the heat - with no shade! So needed a few fruit shakes along the way - they are everywhere, but a lot more expensive here than in Bangkok - roughly 100 baht - £2 compared with 20 or 30 baht on khao san rd! Anyway, made it to the end and got a photo, took about 3hrs with a few stops - and sore feet! So got a taxi back to near the hotel, which took 25 mins and did a spot of shopping in the form of another pair of shorts - possibly the 2nd pair ive brought my entire life!! Its just too hot to wear anything else. Found a nice restaurant for dinner and updated my blog while enjoying a nice cup of tea!
