We were keenly aware that this
was the end of our island langour, so we spent as much time possible reading, playing chess and lazing in the sun.

The boat came with passengers and supplies from the mainland once or twice a day.
What a fantastically chill place- all the guests loped down to the water's edge to help the staff bring up beer, veggies and ice to fill the coolers.

Unpleasantness
Just when did you leave Thailand? Assuming you two had nothing to do with the current civil unrest there? Sarah, you look well. But, Ely, you really ought to have someone with medical expertise take a look at those two white, stringy growths coming out of your ears. When's the last time you had you head examined? Best, Peter PS: Save the spiders; they eat mosquitoes. Take your malaria pills: little white ones daily and the big orange ones weekly.
