The beginning!

We have now safely arrived in Bangkok and left the snow in England. We had a steady drive up in a big posh merc! Our flight was still running on time until we go on the plane and had a two hour delay as we needed to have our plane de iced before we could take off. Before we know it we had landed got our bags and headed to find a taxi. Ironically we both climbed into a bright pink taxi and was taken to our hotel. After a quick Facebook update we tried to find khaosan road! We got clear directions which were, at the end of the road turn right, go over the river, cross the main road and its your next left. It will take 10 minutes you can't miss it! But we walked to the end of the road and turned left, then walked for half an hour until we asked someone who told us we had gone the wrong way! Eventually we found it and it was amazing, the atmosphere was great! We had some pad Thai noodles and a spring roll each for £2, then had a fruit shake! We turned the scorpions on sticks down.
