London, grey, rainy town seems like a distant dream away. Thailand, the golden country with its interesting blends of colourful cities, super spicy foods and wonderous temples meets my expectations...

We hooked up with a lovely chick called B who had a personal chauffeur that escorted us to the buzzing floating markets before giving us a grand tour of the most amazing temples on the outskirts of Bangkok. Definately the hottest day alive so thank the universe for my hi-tech, UV protective Japanese paracell that kept me cool anf focused on appreciating these stunning Buddhas. Massive golden statues that symbolised peace, tranqulitiy and for some strange contradictory reason wealth. After 2 floating markets and 3 wats we were templed out!

Stayed the night in a rather lush part of Bangkok where B's freind's mum (a Thai lady we never met took us under her wings.) Our room had the most comfy king size bed, a bath tub which was in fact a swimming pool and the shower cubical I could actually live in - oh happy days!

Been spending our time very unconstructively; really enjoying the freedom to float freely; waking, eating, sleeping when we want... and, those gorgeous thai massages - bliss!!!

On our way to Chiang Mai on the over night train. Ragy, informs me after indepth inspection that we are in the 1st class section, as we have sheets, blankets and a rather trashy peach, strippy, polystyrene certains that gave us some privacy (so no exspence spared on the interior designer!). Reminds me very much of a basic primary school domitory. I guess one should not moan, as one is glad not to be in 2nd class, which Raj fondly describes as a 'prison block'.

So far, we have been floaded with positive expereinces... loos, though are the exception. With regular bowl movements I have had to endure 'public' toilets which do not fail to dissappoint! The train station facilities this evening needs not to be re-experienced in this blog... Well, at least I'm not constipated (unlike my fellow R...) Way too scared to use the loos on the train... so lets hope that we can last this 15 hours journey without shifting our bowls - fingers crossed then, or should I say more realstically 'legs crossed'!!!

Bless you fro reading, big love Cotty xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
