My mouth was on fire a few minutes after this picture!
We both really loved Bangkok. Spent most of our time escaping the humidity on the amazing air conditioned train network and in the shopping centres. I've never seen Tom so excited about a shopping centre. Terminal 21 is the newest and it was pretty amazing, if only we weren't at the start of the trip we could have bought a lot. The best thing about Terminal 21 was the food court... $3 could feed us both and the food was great. Tom also got very excited about being able to buy Carmens museli bars in the swanky supermarket there.

We also indulged in some street food and massages - both were great.

As for sightseeing, we were a bit lame, it was so humid we couldn't face the crowds and wandering around, we took a boat trip but that was it. Looking forward to the next time we can stopover in Bangkok.

This is as close as we got to the grand palace before humidity won and we turned back for home.

Appears you can sell anything in Bangkok. Tom bought a blackberry charger from one of the stalls for 50c, funnily enough it didn't work when we got home

We weren't too impressed with Bangkok's Chinatown
