24th March flight from Christchurch to Sydney to Bangkok. .. really sad to leave NZ had an amazing trip 😊 but.. start of a new chapter. FLight went surprisingly quicker- probably because i did not want to get off.. i was dreading Bangkok... I did not know what to expect but my opinion was not good. Arrived at 1AM. Took the airport city transfer to the city the driver told me my hostel was down Kho San Road. I left the taxi- as no cars allowed down road, i walked down the MANIC street at 3.30 AM and couldnt find the hostel, 35 degrees, a heavy rucksack, busy, in asia, alone.. not good!!! eventually found some Brits who pointed me in the right direction and of who i actually met up with the next day for drinks and planned with the girl- Claire, to get the hell out of 'Bangeres' (my knew nickname) and head south east to Koh Chang. We spent the next four days there. Rented a little hut right on a stoney beach.. we got ourselves into a little routine, heading down to sandy beach, eating lunch on a sea front bar, yum watermelon shake and noodle meal

God to chill out there and had a fun time with claire, but pretty touristy there- with no people. After the few days i felt pretty 'chang-ed' out.. so where did i head? yup back to Bangers!!! Met an Australian friend- Gerard who had just flown in and we planned the next few weeks in Asia together. Stayed at an amazing hostel- 'Nap Hostel' only opened a week, so everything brand new and for a discounted price 😉 the staff were so friendly, which all made Bangers a bit more bearable!
