Breakie at the New Siam Guesthouse - it's great to be back
Well, we thought we would have to sit around in reception for 3 hours as wasn't expecting our room to be ready until at least 9am.
However when superwoman came on shift at 7am (she really is great, does about 5 things at once whilst checking people in and wears the funkiest yellow and blue eye make up ever!) she gave us our room at 7.30am - great!

We hit the sack and woke at 11am feeling like we had been asleep all night long - these rooms are great for £3 each!

We decided to hit the shopping centres today and try and finish the pressie buying. Our first stop was at the Central Shopping centre which was very posh, bit like the ones in Manchester.

But as all the prices were just a little more than we wanted to pay (£15 for a designer top - terrible!) we went to another shopping centre called the MBK. This was more our style! Had a big department store but then outside it was like a big undercover market with stalls covering 4 floors - so you got to barter whilst in the comfort of air con - belting!

By 7pm we had shopped ourselves out so we returned to Kho San for some food (30bt for Phad Thai off the street stalls - can't complain) booked a trip to go see the Floating Market, River Kwai and Tiger Temple tomorrow, had a sneaky beer then returned to our room.

Early wake up call tomorrow - 6am pick up!
