Arrived in Bangkok

hello!! i have arrived safe and sound in bangkok and am now staying in excellent hotel on ko san road. Flight over wasnt bad apart from no sleep as can really fit in economy seats (its jst not club!) and was delayed by an hour! once arrived we go bombarded with taxi offers but we went to local office and got official one in and was only 6 pounds for the hour journey. We then found our hotel (RIKKA hotel), we all share a room for 15 pounds a night! It has aircon all clean and we have a roof top swiming pool with views over the city - sweet! We went and got diner last night at a local cafe/ba and had few beers and two meals each. Then crasehed out although jet lagged plyed wit our body clocks ad we only slet a little - think will sleep well tonigt!. Today we have wondered aroun kao san an bought a few fake things - i got bag, sunglasses, flip flops etc. We plan to stay in bangkok another 2 nights and so leave here thursday onto our nex destination. hope everyone is well...
