This is the Kings summer palace.
He rarely visits. It's a sprawling vista of opulence.
Gorgeous. Manicured and befitting a King of Thailand.
(Have I mentioned yet how much the Thai people love their King?)

The palace was our last stop of the day and I pretended it was my own and enjoyed it as a lush safe-haven of peaceful rest. I strolled and enjoyed and didn't take many pictures.

Not really a gate but a sort of boat house built by an Italian architect hire by the king. That's why it suddenly looks like we're in Venice.
