Today is the day that kick starts my 7 months journey, I am excited to see and experience!

My first stop is Hualian. I'll be work exchanging for stay in a hostel call "Cozy House". And here i am, sleeping in Taoyuan International Airport as planned, my train to Hualian is tomorrow 850am from Taoyuan train station

Went to grab some food in the convenient store before finding a place to sleep. Asked the help desk where could we spend the night in this airport, apparently this is the best place, tucked in myself with a blanket and a jacket with 2 layers of socks on a 3 seater long bench. Not very comfortable, and its very cold.

Cleo, Vickie and me will be spending 30 days in Taiwan, (the maximum duration of stay for Malaysians=30 days) From April 27 to May 27, hmm 1 month. Just the right time to leave to Tokyo on that date. NOTTTTT. I totally forgotten that there's 31 days in April. A+ for maths! So i thought of a plan,

Plan A (the plan that we do not have to pay the fine for overstaying)- Our flight arrives Taoyuan at 1050pm, soooo, we just need to mingle around inside the arrival hall, and go queue at the immigration when it strikes 12am, which is 28th April, so 28/4-27/5=30 days! Brilliant plan!

We followed plan A, and i pretended i had bad diarrhea and went in and out of the toilet while Cleo waited for me, and if anyone suspects us, Cleo can give the excuse saying she is waiting for her friend in the toilet, did i mentioned i am a great actress? I came out at 1150pm, we joint the queue at the immigration but there wasn't much passengers, and our passport got stamped at 1158pm-27th April. Plan A=FAILED.

Its ok, we have Plan B= pay the fine.

Will write again tomorrow once i reach and settle down in Hualian.
