They were lining up at midday for a position close to the stage. I was on my way to the 101 building observation deck.

Another blue sky day. I avoided going here till today because of cloudy weather and it was well worth the Taiwan $500.

The view is stunning all the way around the city. Some reports say do not bother, well I say do make the effort if the weather is good.

It was difficult to find a taxi afterwards so we kept walking clear of the huge crowd. We then found our way to a very overcrowded nightclub till 5.00am. A big night out ;)

The main hub for MRT, trains and bus stations in Taipei. There is also a huge underground mall.

A scenic ride on the MRT to the cable car station. Go early on a nice day and miss the crowd later in the day.

The best cable car ride I have been on and very inexpensive. Great views. You can get off at Taipei Zoo, Zhinan Temple station and Maekong.

Zhinan Temple stop. Make sure you check out this amazing temple on the mountain side. I spent 1.5 hours there admiring the temple and the views.
