Today Cynthia and I went 'river tracing' just outside Hualien on the east coast of Taiwan. I won't write a huge amount because the photos are more entertaining, but essentially the day involved climbing up the river bed and drinking most of the water in the process, it was really good fun!

Not sure about saving such a scary drowning person!
Kat, just in case you are ever in that situation, I think you should try NOT to pull that 'help me I'm drowning' face if you can help it. River tracing looks as sexy a sport as kayaking, but without the faff of carrying the canoe around in the first place...good idea. Was the water warm?
