From the plane I could see Mother Ganges winding through the landscape. On our arrival in Varanasi, we found a taxi to take us into the city. The closer we got the smaller the streets and more crowded until we could go no further, as the driver said it wasn't possible as no traffic allowed. We are a couple of Australians who have decided to travel before we get too old. And wander into the great unknown for a couple of years. What the Native Australian Aboriginals call "Going Walk About" We hope that we will fill our life with wonderful sights and memorys and the joy of making new friends and better understand the people of our world and embrace their cultures and beliefs.
