Rabies
Every time I look at a monkey I think of rabies....but no, I haven't had a shot. I'll stay away from them.

Fantastic proverb!
I love that proverb, and used it in our blog on Spain...sounds so apt for this post :) How cute that one of the resident pups adopted you, and he'd probably protect you if the monkeys got too close. Happy New Year Rachael! xx

Doing nothing...
Isn't it great? Very apt. Although tomorrow I am doing a cooking class, which I am really excited about. The food here is really sensational!

I see we share the same love for Sri Lanka!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. If I remember well, my preferred beach was Mirissa. But it seems Sri Lanka is changing fast and the hordes of tourists are clearly on their way in. Still, amazing country and people. Enjoy!

Beautiful Sri Lanka
Yes, I'm loving it, it's absolutely gorgeous. The people are so friendly and genuine. Mirissa was beautiful, I wished I stayed there. I'm in Unawatuna and you're right, the tourist hordes are definitely here. Still easy to get away from it all though.... Happy New Year to you too!
