Simply loved Sigiriya and decidied to do it on my own this time wghithout a guide.
Some palces just need peace to enjoy them and this was one of them. I wish you could feel the presence of the place.

Hi Beverley, going to Sri Lanka in a week time starting from Colombo and then historic triangle - what is the wearther like?? I am so affraid it is going to rain when we visit this amazing ancient places - your photos look great ;-) cheers, Beata

Don't worry it's coming into dry season now and NOTHING could spoil the wonder of this place. It gets pretty hot though. More blogs coming that you may like to see. Enjoy.
