I woke a little before the alarm went off at 4:15am, dressed, and walked to the check-in counter, so conveniently located close to the hotel. No one was ahead of me in the line, so check-in was a breeze. No one was ahead of me in immigration, either, so I was at the club by 4:30am. My flight was right on time, at 6:00am to Hong Kong. I had a little over an hour in HK and spent most of that time in the club. The flight to SFO was also on time: I had a seat upstairs again … my favorite place in a 747. Slept for about 7 hours but would have liked to have slept longer. Did a bit of work, then slept some more. We had to circle SFO once due to fog and so landed 20 minutes late. No problems through immigration and customs. BART train was getting ready to depart just as arrived to the platform, which was great, but then it was delayed 15 minutes at Rockridge, which was not. Still, I'm not complaining. Took a cab home. Gruden (once he recognized me, poor blind doggie) greeted me with whimpering.
