Singapore, one of the main financial centers in Asia, one of Asian Tigers, also known as Lion city, has the Merlion (lion head and fish body) as symbol of Singapore. Singapore is a very small country, 692 km2, but extremely rich, so the life cost there is higher too, and there are lot of foreigners, the main nationality there are Chinese, Malaysian and Indian.
Singapore is a fine city, you can find the fines everywhere. Walk in the wrong place, fine, urinate in the wrong place, fine, eat in the wrong place, fine, smoke in the wrong place, fine, and the fines are not small values, sometimes it is a big fine, so you also can find the souvenir with a lot of fine symbols. But Singapore is indeed a fine place, by organization, development, education and success.
You also can find the diversity in Singapore, shopping, beach, rain forest, bars, parks, Malaysian music, Indian music, Chinese music, street dance, museum, modern buildings, all of these things in the small city, that is a great advantage of Singapore, as everything has own price, the life cost in Singapore is high in southeast Asia.
