Stunning City!
So, mid-autumn festival in China means that you get a week of holidays so I packed a pack and set off for Bali, Indonesia with a one day stopover in Singapore. At the start I figured that Singapore would be a one day stopover to just see one of the world's global cities. I quickly realized that there is so much going on there! The multicultural feeling is super cool, the food is amazing and the skyline is breathtaking! I stayed in a closet sized room for $100 a night and I was not prepared for the prices after being in Yongchuan for a few months. But, the feeling/vibe in the city is great. I had a beer and a bite in the evening I arrived and then during the day I folly here, I walked around the harbour and (I could not resist) went to the Singapore Turf Club to check out a couple of races. I definitely would like to go back to Singapore to check out some more architecture and other parts of the city.
