After a solid night's sleep, I woke up fairly rested. I headed to the gym while John slept a little more. The gym was located on a very high floor in a corner, with floor to ceiling windows. Incredible views! It was well-equipped - like a regular gym. A ton of cardio machines, some weight machines, and free weights. The bathrooms attached to the gym had nice showers, a wet sauna, dry sauna, and a ... Read Full Entry

No idea why this was in the flower garden, but it's half-people carrying luggage. It's the weirdest out of place statue I may have ever seen.

This place really was conserving things too. They had a section with rare begonias - this one is thought to be extinct, last seen in the wild in 1967. It looks to me like every other begonia I've seen haha

Din Tai Fung - my new obsession. There is SOUP inside those dumplings! What an amazing meal/experience. Though the restaurant felt like the Chinese equivalent of going to a Friday's, it was so awesome I don't even care.

This is as close as I got to the botanical garden which has a famous orchid section. Love the orchids here! Quick photo on the way to the airport. Right before we started running to the train haha

Ramen? Pho? Not really sure. In the Shanghai airport lounge. But the spoon you get to eat it with is like a soup ladel.

Best part of the meal service is the hot basket of bread they walk around with, some of which is this awesome hot garlic bread. It's a nice safe fallback when your food might have eyes, or be a part of an animal you would never think is supposed to be eaten. (OMG in the Shanghai airport they had a bag of DUCK BILLS. I swear. I had to ask the person, who didn't speak English, what it was because you could barely tell from the picture.)

Loved the metal chopsticks they had! I don't think I've ever used metal ones.

It was a running joke that all we did was fall asleep in random places on this trip! By the pool the last night.
