Today we were awake early, not by choice but in anticipation of the day.
We were up at 7:00am and didn't and didn't have to meet until 8:15am for breakfast. As it turned out it was just Bec and I for breakfast as the other two didn't show. We wandered across to the place where we'd had breakfast a few days earlier, still just as delish! Then Bec messaged Garath who met us back in the hotel lobby to catch a cab out to the mountain to do the cable car across to Sentosa Island. While Bec had a smoke I went into the bathrooms and they had a big glass wall with the view of Sentosa. It was amazing.
We jumped on the cable car and went across to the island, got some amazing views on the way across. We found the entrance to Universal and in we went.
We started with the Transformers 4D ride which was absolutely fantastic. Next up was The Mummy indoor roller coaster, twice. The line was short and it was awesome so we went again. After that we went in to Jurassic Park. We
started with the raft ride but the line was already 35mins long so we went and bought an express pass and got on straight away, amazing. It was like you were on a raft tube type thing going down a river through Jurassic Park. After this we went on the high flyer which is a surprisingly fast rollercoaster, blitzed that line too with our express pass. After we accidentally walked into water world where a show was about to start. It was actually really good, all sorts of stunts and explosions and people getting soaked. At the end we even got to have our photos with the cast which was cool.
After that it was time for Mel's Diner for lunch. Chilli cheese fries and a ginormous coke for me. Then we walked out to Madagascar where we went on the worst most boring ride ever. Then on to Far Far Away, Shrek Land where we saw the Shrek 4D movie. Then we went back and did The Mummy ride one more time because we still had our express pass for that and went and did the Transformers one again. By this time we'd been at the park for 5.5hrs
and it was time to leave.
We walked around a bit before boarding the train to the hotel. Had a swim and a drink at the poolside then got showered etc and made our way in a cab down to the Ion Centre. From there we walked all the way up Orchard Road to the Little John shop where we purchased our jars of snail cream. Snail secretion cream to be specific. It's supposed to be really good for your skin, we shall see.
After, we headed to Billy Bombers Diner, we thought we'd keep the American Theme going for the day. I had my first lot of fish and chips since I'd been here, and a lemonade float. We were so full. Then we walked back to the hotel when we proceeded to do our foot rub, cleanse, face masks, followed by our new snail cream. Then it was snooze time. Once again we had completed almost 25km of walking for the day.
