Firstly a big HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to our Moms from Singapore! Hope you had a good morning and are out doing something fun or relaxing at home.
Ahhhh a good night's sleep makes alll the difference! Slept in till 9am this morning!
We got our Internet connection which is why I'm writing this right now! I'm sitting on the floor coz that's the best signal for the wireless!
We had brekkie at TCC - The Coffee Connection. It's across the road. Kind of a funky looking coffee shop. Seems to be frequented by tourists only. We had American breakfast - geez how non-Singaporean haha! Maybe tonight we will get something authentic.
Everything looks closed...maybe coz it's Sunday. Or maybe they will open up later? Hope so!
We have booked a city tour starting at 2pm today. We also booked a Sentosa morning tour tomorrow. Tonight after the city tour we will go to Bugis Village night markets (if we can find it). Heard there are cheap things there. Also lots of souvenirs. Will have to drop by Sim Lim Square to see all the electronics! I also heard there's a 24/7 shopping centre called Mustafa Centre.

Mr Beans is a 24/7 cafe at the bottom of this building. We'll try it for brekkie tomorrow.We're just waiting online now to check in for our flight on Tuesday. We had the best seats coming in...the twosome seats at the back of the plane. Very roomy. We want to get those seats for our flight to London.
Todd is watching ESPN (the baseball) and reading the paper. Apparently 2 Aussie horses are running in Singapore today - Vroom Vroom and another one I can't remember.
We will be online for a total of 24hrs. Internet costs $11.65 SGD for 24hrs. Not bad really. Very convenient. We will be chatting to our parents tonight.
Todd just checked the NRL scores...YAY for the Broncos! 😊
