Today we ventured out of the hotel and did some sightseeing. We visited the Marina Waterfront and other sights around Singapore city centre. The sun was very hot and again humid so didn't go too far - lack of air kept leading us to inside the shops just to feel normality and be able to breathe properly. You find youself going inside stores just to be able to breathe and recover from all the sweat you endure from the heat outside. Weather was 32 degrees today, seems hot but there is a lot of cloud and you sweat more from the extreme humidity outside and the lack of breeze. After all the sightseeing we chilled by the hotel pool in the afternoon and did a workout in the gym (which is air conditioned thankfully) - we have both put a bit of weight on since being on holiday, to the extent of not being able to fit into some of our clothes !! not good hey !!

Tonight we are indulging in the cocktail night at the hotel until late and more relaxing is on the agenda tomorrow and for the rest of the holiday as we plan on winding down before our departure back to the UK - 'back to reality'......... There is not a lot to do in Singapore other than 'shop to you drop' and a few places of intereset. We have a planned visited to Sentosa Island and may visit the Zoo, which has been recommended especially the night safari, but we will see how we feel. Other than that, we plan on chilling and relaxing at the hotel, enjoy the grounds and poolside !! and not going too far..... Well farewell for now and not long before we are back, look forward to seeing you all very soon. Love Claire and Shaun xx
