As we write this, we've just gotten through our first disaster on this trip. Our flight out to Bali was booked for 4.25 today, but naturally we only thought to check when our flight times at 5.00pm. Need a pa. Georgia and Sanjay (our travel agent) are now best friends and he now knows shes calling before she's said her name. Being capable teenagers that we are though, we do now have a flight tomorrow (phew).

Despite this minor hiccup, we've had an amazing time in Singapore. We've been to Sentosa island, met up with family friends, done the Night Safari and been to Little India. Our trip has been greatly improved by the amazing food (Georgia thinks the magarita pizzas are really yumm). The weather has been steaming hot throughout, but we've deffinetly witnessed some pretty crazy tropical storms. After doing a spot of househunting and visiting some pretty gorgeous shopping malls - complete with functioning canals and round the year ice rinks - we all agree Sophie's a very lucky lady to be moving here, despite the price of alcohol (£9 A PINT!!).

We all agree our favourite thing was going to the Indian area of Singapore, Little India. With its cacophony of chaos and colours (Max alliterates) it was a wonderful thing witness. Max and Sophie got henna tattoos (dw, not permanent) and Max is too embarassed to admit to buying us friendship rings.

For our last evening in Singapore we've just been out to Altitude, the tallest open-air bar in the world, to have a Singapore Sling. The Marina Bay Sands had a laser show so we were lucky enough to see that and get some great views of the city at night - missing our flight seemed so worthwhile!

Many a sunny hour has been spent by the pool this week and we're proud to announce that our tans are developing nicely.

After that momentous announcement, we will love you and leave you. Hope those of you in Surrey are enjoying the snow and aren't getting too cold and depressed without us.

Muchos love

I can't believe you guys have missed your flight!!!......... I wonder if it has anything to do with those lovely cocktails that you were drinking at Altitude??!! Looks a fab city but can't believe it is £9 for a pint.......I think you will find that Bali is much cheaper......that is if you actually get the flight!!! Take care all of 3 of you!! Adrian XXX
