They would just dump a box of fireworks in the middle, light it and let the people scatter. Most of them would fire into the crowd.. safe it was not!

excited and jealous
Your posts about the philippines have me really excited my trip there this summer. I have not been back in 14 years. Growing up in Manila there was so much of the country I did not see. Thanks to the poor transportation and tourism infrastructure at that time. It seems like things have improved on that front. I do have a question.... If you had to pick between Coron and El Nido, which would it be? Garret

hey guys, it was fun reading your blog... if you're planning to visit the Philippines again, try Cebu. the Sinulog festival will offer u more Ati-atihan had. it's every 3rd sunday of january. yeah, same with atihan, it's a feast for Sr, Sto. Nino.
