Looking for somewhere to go to for the Nov.1 long weekend, I chanced upon a website promoting Dumaguete City (www.dumagueteinfo.com). Great blog. Went to apo and found it very interesting too. Yes, the first look/superficial look of marine sanctuary was deceiving but when one immerse in water..aha! fish and corals and all. We even said sorry when we stepped on the big live corals. Apo is our favorite place in our country. Thanks for your blog. It triggers a lot of memories.

15 minutes ahead.
Sorry to whoever thinks Dumaguete is the only island where the clocks are set ahead 15 minutes. Dipolog does it. Lots of places in the Philippines do it. If you've heard the comment Filipinos are always late, then you know why the clocks are set ahead.
